Surapa completed her extensive training in Traditional Thai Massage techniques with the Thai Ministry of Public Health in Bangkok. Her training was rigorous, involving 10½ hour
days that started at 6 am with prayers and exercises. Prayers are an integral part of the training, as the Buddhist philosophy teaches that it is more important to give of yourself and to help your
patients, rather than just performing a service for monetary gain.
Originally coming from a small village in the north of Thailand, Surapa arrived in Melbourne in May 2005 and since then has gained her Diploma of Remedial Massage as well as attending
other specialty workshops. She has already established a growing list of very satisfied clients as can be seen on the Testimonial page.
Surapa is one of only a handful of people in Australia to have gained the National Skills Standard Certificate. This certificate was introduced by the Thai government as confirmation that the
recipient has undergone intensive training in Traditional Thai Massage techniques which meet the governments training standards for Thai masseurs working internationally.
